🌍 Wadata Relief Care Initiative- WRCI Update 🌍 


On 11/12/2025, the WRCI team carried out a courtesy visit to the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Barr. Abdullahi Garba Faskari, at his office in Katsina State. 

Led by our Project Manager, Abubakar Babangida , and joined by the Community Engagement Officer, Communication Officer, MEAL Officer, and Gender & Protection Officer, the visit was part of our ongoing engagement efforts for the implementation of our flagship project:

This initiative is being implemented under the STRIVE II GLOBAL Program, in partnership with The International Center of Excellence for Countering Extremism and Violent Extremism - Hedayah and with generous funding from the European Commission . 

🀝 During the meeting, the SSG warmly welcomed the team and expressed full acceptance of the project. He assured us of maximum support from the Katsina State Government, emphasizing the importance of this initiative in promoting peace, security, and community well‑being across the state. 

βœ… The visit was highly productive, reinforcing our shared commitment to building stronger, more resilient communities against the threats of extremism and violent extremism.
